St. Anthony's Choir and Band performs at Alliance for School Choice Summit

Students from St. Anthony Catholic School Choir performed at the Alliance for School Choice's annual summit. 

Students from St. Anthony's Catholic School Choir and Band were invited to perform at the Alliance for School Choice's annual summit on May 20th. The event was held at Gaylord Hotel. Mr. Kevin Chavous and Cardinal Wuerl were both keynote speakers.

Cardinal Wuerl has been a strong advocate of the highly-successful D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program, which this year is helping nearly 1,600 students attend private and Catholic schools of their parents’ choice. At the Alliance's annual Summit, Cardinal Wuerl will discuss the importance of helping low-income families, like those of the Consortium, gain access to better educational options.
