2017 Distinguished Principal of the Year award for the Archdiocese of Washington. went to Michael Thomasian. Thomasian is the principal of St. Anthony Catholic School in Northeast Washington, DC.

Crystina Martinez, the 2011 Ms. Paula Nowakowski Scholar, can now add 2013 Sacred Heart graduate to her list of honors and accomplishments. Crystina recently profiled by the Catholic Standard in an article about her school, her faith and about what it has meant to her to be a Ms. Paula Nowakowski Scholar during her seventh and eighth grades as Sacred Heart.
